PBIS PD Schedule 25-26

Welcome! We offer a variety of professional development to support the implementation of the PBIS Framework. This is a live document that will continuously updated as we add more trainings throughout the year.

The team training will guide school teams through the development and implementation of a school-wide PBIS integrating social emotional learning and mental health. The training sequence includes many elements:

  • Introducing Tier 1 components and critical features
  • Integrating mental health and Social EmotionalLearning (SEL)
  • Teaming structures: systems, data, and practices
  • Data-based decision making
  • Building efficient meeting structures
  • Improving classroom management strategies
  • Developing proactive responses to discipline
  • Planning for kick-off events

This training guides school teams through the development and implementation of a Check In/Check Out system for Tier 2 intervention. The training sequence includes:

  • Introducing and developing Tier 2 components and critical features
  • Teaming and data-based decision-making process
  • Integrating mental health and Social Emotional Learning (SEL)
  • Establishing Tier 2 interventions (Check-In, Check-Out, Skills Groups, Mentoring)
  • Monitoring student progress and using data for action planning
  • Evaluating fidelity of implementation

For schools ready to implement Tier 3 into their system of supports, we offer a variety of elective professional development:

Topics include:

  • PBIS Tier 3 site readiness and informal Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI) walkthrough
  • Refining PBIS Tier 1 and Tier 2 foundations
  • Introducing to PBIS Tier 3 core features
  • Teaming and data-based decision-making processes
  • Integrating mental health and Social Emotional Learning (SEL)
  • Monitoring student progress and using data for action planning
  • Evaluating fidelity of implementation
