The Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE) provides countywide leadership in school health and school nursing services. The health and nursing services team partners with districts, county offices of education, and community stakeholders to promote and advance student health within schools.

What We Do

We collaborate closely with districts to enhance school health practices, improve health outcomes, and foster safe, supportive environments for students. Through tailored technical assistance, our services are designed to empower educational communities and ensure access to quality health and nursing care across the county.  We strive to improve health policies, and promote a safe, healthy learning environment. 

We provide comprehensive health and nursing services to support internal programs across our organization. Our team collaborates with various internal departments to ensure that student health is prioritized at every level. 

Our nursing team provides:

• Universal services to improve health for the students we serve.
• Targeted interventions for students with specific health needs.
• Intensive support and case management for students with chronic or complex health issues.
