Special Day Class Services
Riverside County Office of Education partners with school districts of Riverside County to provide Special Day Class Services. A Special Day Class or SDC is a term used to describe a self contained special education class which provides services to students with intensive needs that cannot be met by the general education program alone. Students in grades preschool to 12+ who are served through the moderate to severe programs are eligible for services as a result of a disability that is moderate to severe in nature such as intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities, or autism.
