Become a Student
The School of Career Education programs are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. To be eligible to enroll please attend an Orientation with the Admissions Technician.
All perspective students must also:
- Provide official high school or equivalent transcripts
- Complete our SCE Online Application
- Pass a basic-skills assessment (unless otherwise noted)

Orientation Schedule
Orientation is approximately 15 minutes in length and covers how to enroll, financial aid, and an explanation of what is included in the program.
In-person orientation is offered 1 day a week at Indio and 1 day a week in Riverside.

The CASAS Practice Guide will be emailed to help you prepare for the assessment if you wish to look over sample questions. Scratch paper, a pencil, and a calculator will be provided upon entering the computer lab. The test is scheduled for two hours, but you may leave once you have completed both the math and reading sections.
