California State Preschool Program (CSPP) offers high-quality early education to preschool-age children at low or no cost to eligible families. Funded by the California Department of Education (CDE), CSPP is available at licensed child development centers across Riverside County.
The program is designed to support school readiness and overall child development while easing the financial burden for families who qualify based on income, family size, or other eligibility criteria.
All CSPP sites operate in full compliance with:
- Title 5 – California Code of Regulations (administered by the CDE), which governs program quality and curriculum standards
- Title 22 – Licensing requirements under the California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division
These standards ensure that children receive safe and quality developmentally appropriate care in an environment that supports both learning and well-being.
