Misty McBee brings creativity, innovation, and heart to her role as a STEAM educator at Harvest Hill STEAM Academy. With more than two decades of teaching experience, Misty is a pioneer in designing hands-on, project-based learning opportunities that integrate science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Her groundbreaking animatronics program empowers students to collaborate, problem-solve, and apply twenty-first-century skills in real-world contexts. Beyond the classroom, Misty fosters strong community partnerships, leads after-school enrichment programs, and champions student exhibitions of learning that celebrate curiosity and achievement. Her commitment to creating dynamic learning environments inspires students to dream boldly and prepares them to thrive in an ever-evolving world.

"I am honored and humbled to be selected as a Teacher of the Year by the Riverside County Office of Education. This recognition is a reflection of the incredible support and collaboration I receive from my students, colleagues, and the community of Menifee Union School District. I am incredibly fortunate to work alongside passionate educators who inspire me daily to do my best for our students.
