Amy's Message

"Thank you for the honor of being named a 2025 Riverside County Teacher of the Year! My heart is overflowing with gratitude, and this recognition truly shines a light on the amazing students of Indio High School – they are the real stars! My biggest joy is helping them believe in themselves and reach for their brightest futures. While their dedication and community spirit through NHS and CSF are fantastic, I've noticed a common hurdle: math confidence. It's my passion to build not just their math skills, but also their self-assurance. Seeing them grow in both areas, tackling challenges head-on and making a positive impact, is incredibly rewarding. This award is a wonderful chance to share their stories of hard work, resilience, and how building confidence in the classroom empowers them in all aspects of their lives. Thank you for celebrating their potential and achievements!"
