Employee Services

Employee Services encompasses program activities for classified, certificated and substitute personnel, employee leaves, fingerprint services, employee relations, and labor relations including leadership responsibilities for designated staff associated with the planning, development, and implementation of specified programs.

This unit has primary responsibility for bargaining contract management, grievance processing, investigations, discipline, and related personnel matters.

If you are retiring, we recommend you first reach out to the California State Teachers Retirement System (CalSTRS) or the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS) to assist you with determining a retirement date, prior to completing the form and submitting it to Personnel Services.
