Fiscal Services

Our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams are proficient in interpreting policies and procedures governing vendor payments, revenue collection, and the management of outstanding receivables. We process a high volume of transactions with accuracy and efficiency, including timely payments to child care providers and other community partners. Through these efforts, we ensure sound fiscal operations, strengthen essential local services, and contribute to the well-being of families throughout Riverside County.

Payroll plays a vital role in supporting all RCOE employees by ensuring accurate and timely processing of semi-monthly and monthly paychecks. Our team upholds compliance with labor agreements, federal and state regulations, and the California Education Code. In addition to payroll, we administer employee retirement contributions and manage leave activity, providing reliable support for the organization’s workforce.

Fiscal Services provides comprehensive oversight and support to charter schools authorized by the Riverside County Board of Education. As part of this responsibility, we review and evaluate charter petitions, renewals, adopted budgets, interim reports, unaudited actuals, independent audits, and annual attendance data.

Our team delivers informed fiscal analysis to assist the County Board in making sound decisions while also providing technical assistance and guidance to charter school teams to promote long-term fiscal stability.
